Every ice angler needs a high quality auger — whether you fish from the cozy confines of a plush cabin or you sit on an upturned bucket exposed to the elements. You could even consider a quality auger to be more important than your fishing rod. After all, there are other ways to fish but it doesn’t matter how you plan on catching one if you can’t access the water in the first place.
